DAY OF THE DEAD

RAISE A TOAST TO THOSE WHO HAVE INSPIRED YOU THE MOST

 

As one of Mexico’s most momentous annual fiestas, Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a positive celebration of life, when friends and family gather to cherish and remember the dearly-departed. Our restaurants are marking the occasion between 20th October and 2nd November.  Come and celebrate with us and enjoy a feast of Mexican street food and a specially-created cocktail as well as complimentary tasters of tequila and mezcal (on 2nd November). Each restaurant will be decked out in traditional papel picado and specially-created altars inspired by the traditional ofrendas set up each year in homes across Mexico to honour loved ones.

 

Raise a glass to the dearly departed with La Ofrenda, a limited edition cocktail created to accompany a street food feast in partnership with top notch tequila Gran Centenario. Inspired by (and named after) the colourfully-decorated altars where offerings are made in honour of those that have passed, La Ofrenda is freshly shaken with pomegranate, lime, triple sec, Gran Centenario Blanco and finished with a volcanic lava salt rim and edible flowers.

 

The culmination of our Day of the Dead celebrations will be on Tuesday 2nd November, where we will invite everyone to raise a toast to those who have inspired them with a complimentary glass of either mezcal or tequila, at the end of their meal. Forget shooting it in one though. These are artisanally-made spirits, crafted from centuries of tradition and are far more suited to sipping and savouring!
