On the 19th of April and as part of Cardiff Cocktail Week, our stunning Rojito Bar, which serves the best Mexican inspired cocktails in town on the top floor of our Cardiff restaurant, will host a very special masterclass with agave expert Jon Anders.
You’ll learn first hand the history of Mezcal, how it differs from it’s cousin tequila, and why it’s lately become the sophisticated drink of choice for people like Mick Jagger, who at The Rolling Stones’ recent Mexico shows stated: ‘we used to drink tequila, now we drink mezcal’.
At this ticketed event, you’ll get to sample mezcales from different regions of Mexico and learn more about their artisan production and the traditions of making this incredible spirit in Mexican communities.
